Gastonia – Winona I. Vallance, 80, formerly of Bellevue, Ohio, passed away May 23, 2015.
She was born August 30, 1934 in Muskegon, MI to the late Christian C. and Donna Renkes Steinhauer.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband David A. Vallance
Survived by sons Richard Hamer, Greg Hamer and Kirk Samuel Hamer; a daughter Meg Koontz and husband Brad; sister Ethel Tillotson and husband Bob; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday May 30, 2015 from 12:00 – 1:00 pm prior to the service.
Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 pm at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with the Reverend Roger Overton officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to one of three charities Crisis Pregnancy Center, 700 Robinson Road Gastonia, NC 28054; Chapel Grove Children s Building Fund, 716 Camp Rotary Road Gastonia, NC 28052; or Armed Forces Foundation 16 North Caroline Ave. SE Washington, DC 20003
Burial will be Private
