Gastonia - William Michael "Mike" Stillwell, 66 passed away September 22, 2014 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
He was born on May 17, 1948 in Gaston County to the late Woodrow and Helen Stillwell.
Mike worked at Pharr Yarn for over 45 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Becky Grant
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Delores Cogdell Stillwell; his children David and Ronald Stillwell and Jennifer Stillwell Crawley; brothers Larry, Dean and PeeWee Stillwell; sister Joan Stillwell Oates; Grandchildren, Chase, Justin, Kristin, Emily, Steven, Brittney, Logan, Payton, Kaytlyn and Addison, and one great grandchild, Aldon Gibson.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00pm, Thursday prior to the service at the church
Celebration of Life service will be 3:00 pm, Thursday, September 25th at Promised Land Baptist Church, 1024 Old Modena Street, Gastonia, NC with Reverend Harold Blankenship officiating. Interment will follow at Hollywood Cemetery
Pallbearers will be Justin and Gary Stillwell, Chase Gamble, Jimmy Oates, Steven Crawley, Ray Wooten; Honorary Pallbearers will be Todd Stillwell, Mitch Oates and Steve Braswell
