William Carl Radford

Dallas - William Carl Radford, 72, joined his Heavenly Father on September 11, 2018 surrounded by his loving family at CMC-Main.

Carl was born in McDowell County, NC on November 26, 1945 to the late Ernest and Jeanette Seaman Radford. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ronald, Donald and Lawrence.

Carl will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed! He was a faithful member of Lowell Church of God where he served as a Head Usher and Greeter at the door for many years. After retiring from Textiles, Carl worked as an escort driver for Home Run, Cleveland County.

Left to cherish his memories includes his wife of 54 years, Linda Jenkins Radford;
his children, Ronald Radford (Donna); Angela Radford (Erick Gonzalez); and
Jon Radford (Cindy); grandchildren, Jonathan, Hannah, Aaron and Logan; brothers, Charles, Bruce, Frank and Dennis; numerous nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Saturday, September 15th at Lowell Church of God.

The Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 16th Lowell Church of God with Reverend Joe Heffner and Reverend Joel Shores officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen "A Quiet Place" Belmont, NC with the Releasing of the Doves.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Radford, Dennis Radford,Frank Radford, Ronald Radford, Tim Radford and John Hall, Jr.
Honorary Pallbearers, John Hall, Sr., Jessie Palmer, Paul Darnell and All Ushers of Lowell Church of God

The family will be at the home of his son, Jon Radford, 125 Landing Court, Bessemer City, NC 28016.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lowell Church of God, 804 West 1st Street, Lowell, NC 28098.
