Gastonia- Eric Wayne Harris, 69 passed away suddenly on June 24, 2020 at his residence.
He was born in Glen White, West Virginia ( Wyoming County) on May 7, 1951 to the late Clarence and Ozelia Mae Brown Harris.
He enjoyed fishing, playing the lottery, antiques and watching the 49ers football. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. Wayne worked as a CNA for the Veterans Administration for many years.
Left to cherish his memories is his loving children, Wayne Harris, II (Taylor), Erica Harrelson(Chuck), and Nekida Ussery (Phillip); his grandchildren, Jakari, Jadyn, Alaina, Kayson, Jackson, Mason, Hannah, Roger, Sean, Sasha, Holden, Devonta and Brittany; his special friend, Brenda; brothers, Clarence and Darrell Harris; sisters, Drema Kincaid, Inell Drayton, Mona Simon and Pam Kennedy; mother of his children, Barbara Harris.
Services will be private for family only
