Bessemer City-Jeffrey 'Wayne' Hamilton, 60, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Gaston Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
He was born October 27, 1949 to Grace Collins Hamilton and the late Worth Alexander Hamilton in Rockingham, NC.
Life dealt Wayne many hardships and obstacles but he surmounted them all with strength and dignity until he was called upon by the Lord.
Wayne brought joy to our lives with his wit and humor and could always bring a smile to ones face. He maintained his sense of humor to the end of his life and we will always remember how his smile could light up a room. Words cannot aptly describe how much he meant to everyone.
