Wanda Marie Raby

Gastonia-Wanda Marie Raby, 66 of Gastonia passed away peacefully on November 23, 2013 at the Brian Center.
She was a native of Cleveland County, born December 19, 1946 to the late Lawrence and Peggy Stone Adams.
Wanda was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church and had retired from Sam's Club. She was a very loving and caring Grandmother, enjoying spending time with them. She loved her friends at Mercy Place, Belmont and all of friends of many years. Wanda enjoyed working with her hands, doing needlepoint, crocheting, often making Christening gowns and ring bearer pillows. Wanda was an artist, painting many beautiful paintings.
Survivors include her daughter Dawn Farmer and husband Gary of Gastonia; Chad Raby and wife Tricia of Charlottesville, VA;
Grandchildren Max Farmer, Blake Farmer, Cory Farmer, Bella Farmer, Keri-Lee Raby and Peyton Raby; Great Grandchildren,
Maddox and Mason Farmer; little best friend bejon BJ;
Brothers, Jerry Adams and wife Edith of Kings Mountain, Dave Adams and wife Debbie of North Myrtle Beach, SC;
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00pm with a
Celebration of Life service to follow at 6:00 pm Monday, December 2, 2013 at the First Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor John Gibbs officiating.
Burial will be private
