Belmont – Vivian Mae Lane. 89 passed away peacefully on January 23, 2018 at the Robin Johnson House with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Warren, Ohio on December 8, 1928 to the late Fred Stafford and Grace Louge Stafford. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, John W Lane and son-in law, Bob Williams.
Vivian was a member of Lutheran Church of the Holy Comforter. She enjoyed the beach, playing card, knitting and going to Harrah's to gamble.
Left to cherish her memories includes her loving children, Deborah Williams and Bill (Diane) Lane; Four grandchildren, Jon Williams, Amy (Nick) Alvarez, Amanda and Andrew Lane; great grandsons, Brody and Brayden Alvarez.
Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Lutheran Church of the Holy Comforter, 216 North Main Street, Belmont, NC with Reverend Micah Kearney officiating. A reception will follow the service in the family life center.
