She was born in Columbus County, NC on December 28, 1935to the late Lou Watts and Council Hayes
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Johnny Wayne Waggoner, John Young, Jr., and brother, David Hayes.
Left to cherish her memories include her husband, John Young; son; Andrew Young (Jessica), daughters, Christine Mitchell (Mike); Cona Turner (Derrick) and Ella Baker; 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00 pm, Saturday, November 28th at Lighthouse Full Gospel Church with Reverend Herman Winkler officiating
The family will receive friends following the service at the church
Interment will be private.
