Dallas – Virginia Claudine Stroud Kirby, 75, entered into her Heavenly Home on June 29, 2016 at Carolinas Healthcare System Lincolnton.
She was born in Hayesville, NC on July 7, 1940 to the late Claude and Lucille Davenport Stroud.
Virginia was a member of Soul's Harbor Tabernacle, Dallas. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
Virginia is survived by her husband of 54 years, James "Jimmy" Kirby; son, Tim Kirby; daughters, Debbie Bruce (David), Jennifer Turnmire (Randy), Cindy Hensley (Brian) and Heather Hensley (Noah); 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, David, Carl, Raymond, Terry and Bill Stroud;
sisters, Kathleen Lands, Ruth Beasley, Wanda Baer and Willa Jean Lyvers
Family will receive friends on Friday, July1st from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. prior to the Celebration of Life Service at 4:00 p.m., at Soul's Harbor Tabernacle, 603 Lorraine Street, Dallas with Reverend Eric Quinn officiating.
Graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 2nd at 1:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Church of God Church, 1006 Old Highway 64, Hayesville, NC with Pastor Randy Segnes officiating.
