Victoria "Vickie" Patterson Moore

Victoria “Vickie” Elizabeth Patterson Moore, a cherished mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2025, at her daughter’s home, surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 5, 1930, in Cleveland County, Vickie dedicated her life to her family and her passions, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion.

Throughout her career, Vickie worked in textiles, devoting herself to the art of embroidery. Her creative spirit extended beyond her work, as she found joy in making jewelry, crocheting, and exploring her artistic side. Vickie maintained a spotless home, pouring her heart into every detail and creating a welcoming environment for her family and friends.

Vickie's warm personality was marked by her deep faith and active participation in her church community. She loved the Lord and was a dedicated member of her church for many years, where she fostered relationships that enriched her life and the lives of those around her. Her proudest accomplishments included spending quality time with her family and her church family, which she cherished more than anything.

Vickie is survived by her beloved daughter and son-in-law, Pamela Heilig and her husband, Keith; grandchildren, Harley Heilig and Kirstie Heilig; great grandsons, Asante` Burris and Jeremiah Burris and siblings, brother Mike Patterson (Bonnie), sisters Betty Grant, Sue Bullock, and Jenene Weldon (Travis). 

She was preceded in death by her husband, W.C. Moore; her parents, Yancy and Cloise Patterson; her siblings Glen, James, Bill Patterson, Virginia Putnam; and her granddaughters, Morgan Heilig and Scarlett Brea Heilig.

A visitation for Victoria will be held on January 14, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life starting at 2:00 PM at Chestnut Ridge Church, located at 618 Chestnut Ridge Church Rd, Kings Mountain, NC 28086 with Reverend Greg Neely officiating. The burial will take place in the church cemetery. 

Victoria "Vickie" Patterson Moore will be forever remembered for her loving spirit, artistic talents, and unwavering commitment to her family and faith. She leaves behind fond memories that will be cherished by all who knew her.
