Dallas - Russell Van Stone, Jr., 53, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte with his loving family by his side.
Van was a graduate of North Gaston High School and was employed at Humphrey Construction of Dallas.
Van is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Donna Taylor Stone; step-daughter, Janet Bolynn; and granddaughter, Marissa; parents, Russell Van Stone Sr. and Dorothy Helms Stone; brother, Wayne Stone; sister, Barbara (Derek) Odell; Niece and nephew, Brittany Hammonds, Corey Odell
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 6:15 p.m., Thursday, January 18th at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 6:30 p.m. with Reverend Phil Harrington officiating.
