Dallas – Urban Ivan West, Jr., 85, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2016.
He was born in Screven County, Georgia to the late Urban Ivan and Gladys Parker West.
He was a retired school teacher and worked in Auto Sales.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Thornburg West, sons, Urban I. West, III and William M. West; 4 grandchildren
Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, December 27th from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Philadelphia Lutheran Church, 1910 Philadelphia Church Road, Dallas, prior to the Celebration of life Service at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend Ms. Megan Lineberger officiating.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery
Pallbearers will be Gerald Thornburg, Jr., Reverend Charles Thornburg, Michael Thornburg, John Friday, Rusty Friday and Mike Friday
