Bessemer City – Thomas Daniel Woody, 44, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2014 at Robin Johnson Hospice House.
He was born on April 4, 1970 in Mecklenburg County, NC to Ruby Page Woody and the late Thomas Dewy Woody.
He is preceded in death by his father, brother Thomas Shane Woody who died in 1969, and his wife of 15 years, Cindy Elmore Woody.
Thomas was a 1988 Bessemer City High School Graduate and was a certified CPR Instructor. He had worked at Asplundh Tree Company. He served in the U.S Marine Corps
Survivors include his mother, Ruby Nell Page Woody;
stepchildren Patrick and Shane Richland of Burlington, Vermont; and a grandson
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00pm Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home
