1941-2015

Gastonia – James Thomas "Tommy" Bouldin, 73, passed away on August 20, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born in Gaston County on November 12, 1941 to the late James and Irene Moody Bouldin.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Wilma Christopher Bouldin.

Tommy retired from Freightliner and worked many years in textiles. He was a member of Anthony Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing golf and volunteered at the Senior Center in Dallas.

Left to cherish his memories include his daughter, Kimberly Bouldin Jacobs; brothers Clint Bouldin and wife Barbara, Robbie Bouldin and wife LeeAnn; sisters Jane Adams and Beverly Rector; his grand dogs, grand cats and grand goat; several nieces and nephews

A Celebration of Life service will be 6:00 pm, Saturday, August 22nd at Grace Baptist Church, 2200 Auten Road, Gastonia with Reverend Ken Faulkenbury officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 pm prior to the service

Interment will be at a later date at Gaston Memorial Park

The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to his many friends that helped take care of Tommy: Jackie Jacobs, Lisa Hoyle, Dana Jones, Beth Street, Joan Painter, Elaine Cline, Ronnie and Barbara Garrison; Amy and John Treadway; Angie and Amanda Hunt and the Christopher family for their loving care; Ranlo Rescue and Dallas Rescue Squads, his brothers and sisters and the many visits, calls, text and love for Tommy.
