Gastonia-Thomas Ralph 'Tommy' McGee, 65, of Gastonia, went home to be with the Lord December 20, 2010 at his residence
He was a native of Gaston County, born December 20, 1945
to Inez Long Ramsey and the late J.R. McGee
Tommy was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Vietnam era.
he was a member of Unity Baptist Church, Gastonia and
retired from Gaston College Campus Police
Survivors include his mother Inez Long Ramsey of Gastonia
his wife Judy Whisnant McGee of Gastonia
Children: Alice Frisbee and husband Kenny of Bessemer City,
Ann Auten and husband James of Gastonia,
Barry Whisnant of East Bend
Sister Susan Horton of Gastonia,
Grandchildren Justin Whisnant, Jada Frisbee
Memorial service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William Calvert officiating
The family will receive friends 1 hr prior to the service at the funeral home
