Gastonia – Thomas Sidney Beam, 66, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2014 at Mercy Hospital.
He was born on January 22, 1948 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Jack W. and Lucille Henderson Beam.
He was preceded in death by his step father, Wilbur Turner.
Thomas served in the U.S. Army and worked in healthcare for many years.
Survivors include his Brothers, David Beam and wife Judy and Larry Beam and wife Sheila; Step-sisters, Geraldine Beam, Judy Howell, Martha Crocker, and numerous of nieces and nephews
The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral service. A Celebration of Life Service will be Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with the Releasing of the Doves with Pastor Jeff Hicks. Interment will be at Capernaum Cemetery in Waco, NC
