Tommy Adair

Gastonia-Thomas Newman Adair, 82, of Gastonia departed this life into the arms of Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior on December 22, 2010 at Country Time Assisted Living, in Kings Mountain.
He was a native of Cleveland County, born September 4, 1928
to the late William Newman and Eva Bradley Adair
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his first wife Joyce Parlier Adair
Mr. Adair was a past member of Armstrong Presbyterian Church and a current member of Victory Baptist Church. He retired from Jenkins Metals. Tommy was founder and bass singer for the Gospel Witness Quartet
Survivors include his wife Mary Ann Bagwell Adair
his children: Thomas Edward Adair, James Keith Adair, Angela Epley and husband Ron, Rob Bazzle and wife Lakita, and Allison Bazzle
Sister, Ruth Hill of Gastonia
Grandchildren: Chris, Tim, Leah, Julie, Cortni and Kyle
Numerous great grandchildren, and faithful friend 'Frankie'
A Celebration of Life service will be at 11:00 am Friday, December 24, 2010 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rex Adkins and Rev. Kelly Lowe officiating
The family will receive friends 1 hr prior to the service at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Armstrong Cemetery
