Dallas - Teresa Haney Hardin, 58, passed away peacefully on January 17, at the Robin Johnson House.
She was born July 17, 1961 to the late David L. Haney and Shirley Elizabeth Frisby Haney.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ron Hardin, her brother, Tony Haney, her sisters, Carolyn Gail Haney and Tammy Renee Haney.
She was a loving daughter, mother and sister. Teresa was a good woman and loved to spend time with family. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends; she also enjoyed attending gospel and country singings. She retired from Gaston County Health Department with over 25 years od service.
Teresa is survived by her loving children, Huntley, Gretchen; nephew David Wayne Haney Daniel Wooten; step father, Tom Brown; and too many friends to mention…
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 20th
at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Service will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 21st at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Rick Strickland officiating.
Interment will follow at Long Creek Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery
In lieu of flowers please help her children with her funeral expenses and donate to the Funeral Home for her burial.
Pallbearers will be Derrick Stamey, Caleb Stamey, Randy Haney, Tyler Queen, Wayne Haney, Kenneth Bowen and Dalton Guffey
