Dallas – Thelma Alice Bowman "Tee" Withers, 82 passed away suddenly on September 21, 2017.
She was born in Clover, South Carolina on November 4, 1934 to the late Lonnie A. Bowman and Daisy Stewart Bowman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband of 36 years, Jack Withers; her sisters Virginia Stone, Blanche Moses and Frances Thomas, brothers Sam Bowman and Ed Bowman.
She was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church. Tee worked at Suzette's Beauty Shop for many years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed! Tee was MOST PROUD of her family!!
Left to cherish her memories includes her loving daughters, Carla Newton (Cris), Leslie Miller (Scott); Grandchildren, Jack Fortenbery (Toey), Courtney Fortenbery (fiancé, Alex Rossi), Alyssa Miller and Anna Miller; Great grandson, Oliver Fortenbery; brothers, Jim Bowman (Dora), L.A. Bowman, Jr., (Syliva); special nephews, Max, Joe and Scott Thomas; Many other wonderful nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., prior to the Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, September 25th at Walnut Grove Baptist Church, 3255 Dallas Cherryville Highway, Dallas, NC with Reverend Steve Weaver and Reverend Jim Loftis officiating.
Interment will be at Long Creek Baptist Church with the releasing of the doves.
