On February 20, 2011 Gail lost the love and best friend of her life Michael Keith 'Tank' Spencer, 35 of 617 Martha Avenue.
He was a native if Gaston County, born February 25, 1975 to Jasia 'Pastula' Spencer and the late Brian Keith Spencer.
Tank was a machinist with Sherrill Industries. His hobbies was playing the guitar, writing music and playing golf. He also loved to fish, he was a member of Rankin Lake Baptist Church. Tank will be greatly missed by all.
Survivors include his wife Gail Ledford Spencer; his mother Jasia Pastula Spencer; Eight Stepchildren; Ten Grandchildren; his mother-in-law Lorine Ledford; a brother Larry 'Noonie' Spencer
a stepbrother and two stepsisters; Special Grandson and his best friend Dre Rodriguez; Numerous family and friends
Celebration of Life service will be 6:00pm Friday in the Chapel at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Loftin
A visitation will be held from 5:00 -6:00 pm Friday, February 25, at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home officiating
Interment will be private
