Dallas – Susan Michelle Cloninger, 43, passed away suddenly from a heart condition on October 27th at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Gaston County on March 6, 1974 to Mike and Cathy McGuire Cloninger.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Lois Cloninger; Dent and Georgia "Nana" McGuire; and uncles, Denny McGuire and Gary Cloninger.
Susan was a graduate of North Gaston High School and earned an Associate's Degree from Gaston College. She was a member of Dallas Baptist Church. Susan LOVED people; she always greeted you with a smile that would light up the room. She lived life to the fullest. Susan enjoyed caring for people, sending cards and doing random acts of kindness. She enjoyed gardening, music, dancing and sports.
Left to cherish her memories are her parents Mike and Cathy Cloninger; sister, Alyson Kennedy and wife Lisa; niece, Alyssa Kennedy; special uncle, Kevin McGuire and great aunt and uncle, Billy and Dean Herron; aunts Carla McGuire and Linda Cloninger; many special cousins and "All of Her Rowdy Friends" that she loved dearly.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 1st at Dallas Baptist Church, 407 West Trade Street, Dallas, North Carolina.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 2nd at Dallas Baptist Church with Reverend Jack Bryant and Reverend Barron Lee officiating.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers or memorials, the family requests that you do a random act of kindness for someone. Ultimately in life, you will be judged by your deeds, your faith, and the love of family and friends….Looks like you went three for three Sis! The next time you are out have a drink and a laugh in memory of Susan.
