He was a native of Gaston County, born August 29, 1952 to Harold and Betty Beam Farnsworth from Cherryville.
He served in the US Air Force and loved riding his Harley Davidson.
He was employed with Wix Corp. in Gastonia as a mechanical engineer.
Survivors include his wife of 16 years: Roxanne Crosby Farnsworth
and his Sisters, Sherry Brookshire, Gay Farnsworth;
Step Children: Steven Lackey, Christy Low, Kelly and Bethany Low.
Grandchildren: Ethan and Amber Low, Nathanial and Mitchell Lackey, Alex and Savannah Bowman; Sister and Brother-in-law; Roger and Dianne Self, Lee Crosby; Nieces and nephews: Taylor, Kate, Josh and Jason Self, Brian and LeeAnn

Celebration of Life service will be 11:00am, Tuesday at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Roger Self officiating
The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00am prior to the service
