Dallas – Stephanie Lee Deese Helms, 60 passed away peacefully on September 2, 2017 at her residence with her loving family by her side
She was born on November 24, 1956 in Lumberton, North Carolina to Ruby Spaulding Deese and the late Johnny Deese.
Stephanie was sweet, caring and strong woman who loved her family and friends! She was a member of Restoring Hope Foursquare Church, Dallas, where she served as the Children's Ministry Director for 14 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed!
Left to cherish her memories includes her loving husband of 34 years, Tony L. Helms; daughter, Carrie Cribb (Jonathan); Sons, Steve Helms (Melissa) and their children, Thea and Kylee Helms; David Helms and his children Olivia Helms and Julie Walker; Billy Helms (Erin) and their daughter Jaylen Helms; her mother, Ruby Spaulding Deese; and brother, Dean Deese and his children, Ashley and Shannon
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 6th prior to the Celebration of Life Service at 6:30 p.m. at Restoring Hope Foursquare Church with Reverend Cameron Bryson and Reverend Fred Morrison officiating.
Interment will be private at Long Creek Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery with the releasing of the doves.
Pallbearers will be Zachary Bryson, Mike Smith, Steve, David and Billy Helms, Jesse Belgarde and Mike Bencivengo.
