Stella Putnam

Gastonia – Stella Putnam, 62, passed away suddenly on April 14, 2015.

She was born on December 26, 1953 in Gaston County to the late Ruth Barrett Clary and Luther James Lingerfelt, Jr.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Debbie Gosnell, Donna Lynn Lingerfelt; step father, Bud Clary, father-in-law, Sam Putnam and grandson, Logan Putnam

Stella was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed by many. She was a 1972 graduate of Hunter Huss High School. Stella retired after many years of service from Ti-Caro, Inc.

Survivors include her loving husband, Richard Putnam of 38 years, son, Jayson Putnam, daughters, Gina Putnam and Mike Ledford; Dawn Bunting and husband Ricky and Christy Eller;
Brother, Rick Lingerfelt; mother-in-law, Faye Putnam; special cousin, Debbie Porter; step brother and step sisters; many nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends
Grandchildren; Megan Parker and Dano Garrison, Kelci Wilson and Justin Dellinger; Kalee Wilson, Celeste Eller and fiancé, Aaron Gates, Kaleb and Zak Putnam, River and Jordan Putnam and Juan Suffridge
Great Grandchildren; Daisy Dellinger, Preston Garrison and Ariana Gates
Her beloved dog, Yuki

Memorial Service will be held Friday, April 17th at 6 pm at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with Reverend Sam Barnette officiating.

Visitation for family and friends will be one hour prior to the service and at other times at the home of Dawn and Ricky Bunting, 114 Welch Ave., Gastonia, NC

Interment will be private.
