Dallas – Stefanie Rubenstein Ross, 46, went home to be with her Lord on December 8, 2020 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.
She was born in Miami, Fla., on March 19, 1974.
Stefanie married the love of her life and high school sweetheart, David Ross, in 1992. She spent a life in service along side of her husband, David, at Bessemer City Community Church where he currently serves as pastor. Stefanie had a deep love for her congregational family and generously spent her time caring and praying for their needs. She was the Administrator of Community Christian Academy in Bessemer City where she lived her dream growing the Christian School, caring for children and spreading her faith to others. Stefanie enjoyed being a wife and mother, ministering to those in need and living a life of service to her Lord.
Stefanie is survived by her husband, David Ross; daughters, Jordan Ross Taylor (Jackson), Mackenzie Ross, Alicia Howell, Ariel Shaver, Hope Ross, Faith Ross, godson, Steven Hayes; mother, Renee Coyle; father, Edward Rubenstein (Sarah); brother, Barry Rubenstein (Amanda) and sister, Fancie Rubenstein (Joshua); mother-in-law, Helen Ross; sister-in-law, Nicole Ross Tompkins (Dwayne); brother-in-law, Jason Ross; step siblings, Anthony Ryall, Jonathan Ryall and Virginia Ryall Cross; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and a niece.
Pallbearers are Ben Waters, Jackson Taylor, Dylan Mejia, Ivan Maldonado, Barry Rubenstein and Nick Hayes.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 13, from 1:00 – 3:00 pm in the gym of Baptist Tabernacle Church, 2128 Dallas Cherryville Hwy., Dallas, NC. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 3:00 pm with the Reverends Mike Criswell, Brian Spargo, Michael Spargo and Patrick Conley officiating.
Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
