Dallas – Stanley John Cygan, 76, went home to be with his Lord on May 13, 2019 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
He was born May 7, 1943 in Lynn, MA to the late Stanley John Cygan and Edith Elizabeth Tibbetts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of almost 58 years, Ollie Dianne Roland Cygan; granddaughter, Kristen Smith, sister, Charlotte Tester.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Stan was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp serving in Vietnam. He is survived by his loving family, Randy Cygan (Sierra), Robert Cygan, Ronda Sue Cygan, Rachel Cygan (James Sullivan); 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, Brother, Thomas Eicks, Sisters, Evelyn Tyler and Mary Viglotta.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor John Johnson officiating.
Private inurnment will be in Hardin Community Cemetery.
