Lowell-Sherron Elizabeth Costner Franklin, 56, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2015 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
She was born on May 7, 1958 in Lincoln County to the late Jay and Betty Moxley Costner.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Jay Wilton Costner, Jr.
Sherron was a loving wife, mother, grandmother who will be missed by many. Sherron
worked for Pharr Yarns for over 35 years, Gary often spoke of her dedication of working so much.
Survivors include her loving husband of over 40 years, Gary Franklin; her son Gary D Franklin, Jr and girlfriend Jessica Clarkson of Lowell; Grandchildren Chris, Jason, Dougie, Vincent and Michael; Brothers and Sisters, Darrell Costner and wife Becky, Joe Costner, William and Wally Spivey, Carolyn Acthley and husband Bobby, Brenda Pettus and husband Laiton, Cecilia Griffith and husband Chris, Lisa Chastain and husband Bobby, Sarah Costner and husband Doug Stevens, and Mary Frye; and stepmother Mary Costner; and many nieces and nephews
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, May 5th at 4:00 pm at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with Reverend Jerry Willard officiating.
Visitation for family and friends will from 6:00 until 8:00pm Monday at the funeral home
Interment will be private.
