Gastonia - Sharon Cecilia Jackson, 70, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Carolinas Medical Center, Main, Charlotte with her loving family by her side. She was born in Charlotte and was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Hazel Maxwell Jackson.
Sharon was a graduate of Ashley High School, Gastonia and retired from the Home Health Care profession.
Sharon is survived by two sisters, Sandra Polzin and husband Tom, Donna Hopkins and husband Tommy; two brothers, Max Jackson and wife Jonnie, Keith Jackson; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2018 at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home.
The family will have a private burial at a later date.
