Gastonia – Kenneth Scott McCaskill, 48, entered into his Heavenly Home on August 11, 2015. He was born in Gaston County on September 25, 1966.
Scott was a family man and he loved his girls and grandbaby dearly. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and car racing. Scott attended Soul's Harbor Tabernacle in Gastonia. He had worked for Carolina Paint 18 years and was currently employed by A&K Painting Company, Inc. in Charlotte.
He is preceded in death by his mother Kay Hughes McCaskill, also a sister, Donna Kay; and his father in law, Charles Johnson.
Survivors include wife of 27 years, Debbie Johnson McCaskill; daughters, Heather (Mark), Charli; grandchild, Samantha; Father, Kenneth McCaskill; Sisters, Tracy Fewell and husband Steve, Tammy Rhyne and Mike; Mother-in-law, Drew Johnson, sister in- law Denise Johnson Peeler and 2 step grandchildren, Aeriell and Adalyne; Several Nieces and nephews Kayla, Stephanie, Richard, Brandon, Jennifer, Kenneth and Kevin and 12 great nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 6:00 pm Friday, August 14th at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with Reverend James Chambers officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service.
