Bessemer City – Savannah Nicole Russell, 25, passed away suddenly on March 3, 2022 at her residence.
She was born in Mecklenburg County on July 25, 1996 to Ralph Robert" Red" Russell, Jr. and the late Sonya Renee Selph. In addition to her mother, she is also preceded in death by her brother, Joshua Lee Selph.
She was a loving kind and beautiful mother, daughter, sister and friend to many. Savannah enjoyed the outdoors, animals of all kind. She was a people person and also enjoyed being a computer guru.
Survivors include her loving family, her father, Red Russell, Jr; her 4-month-old son, Russell Cash Payne;father of Russell and fiancee, Anthony Earl Payne;
her siblings, Carrie "Cupcake" Holt, Matthew Holt, Ralph Robert Russell, III and Kayla Marie Russell; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will be 1:00 -2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 12, at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Bishop John Pervine officiating.
