Sara Louise R Skipper

Gastonia ' Sara Louise Ramsey Skipper, 85 went home to be with her Lord on December 12, 2012 at Peak Resources.

She was a native of Gaston County, NC born August 16, 1927 to the late LeRoy and Ola Finch Ramsey.

She was a member of the Home League Club and was a loving mother and grandmother. She attended Oakwood Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 52 years Donald Skipper, daughters Sheila Miller and Betty Skipper, a sister Ethel Ramsey.

Survivors include daughter Rachel Skipper, grandchildren Nichole Snead and husband James, Ashley Stone, Jessica Stone, Candy Wood and husband Alvin, Lori Dorsey and husband Joey, Melvin Lyles Jr., Scott Shoemaker and wife Robin, and Teresa Sawyer and husband Robert, sisters Ruby Thomas and Laura Cobb

Funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm, Friday at Bright Light Baptist Church Rev. Wayne Reece officiating.
Visitation will be one hour before service at the church.
Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park
