Gastonia-Sara Isabell Turner Price, 73 passed away peacefully May 3, 2015 at CMC-Main, Charlotte.
She was born in York County, SC on November 10, 1941 to the late Lewis Mason and Nellie Pearson Turner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Billy Turner.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was a good homemaker. She was a member of Crowders Mountain Baptist Church, where she was active in many different activities. Sara enjoyed cooking, she was a real good cook; often cooking for the shut-ins. She loved spending time with her family and friends, traveling and taking trips with the church.
Survivors include her loving husband of 53 years, Odell Price; 3 wonderful daughters, Donna Price Abernathy and husband Bradley, Kimberly Price Williams and husband Randy, Susan Price Clary and husband Shane; Grandchildren, Melissa Abernathy, Lauren Williams, Jesse and Victoria Funderburk, Cody and Jesse Clary
Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 6th at 2:00 pm at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with Reverend Larry Laws officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm, Tuesday at the funeral home
Interment will be private
