Sandra Painter Hargrave

Lincolnton - Sandra Sue Painter Hargrave, 70, entered into heaven on Friday, March 3, 2023at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.

Sandra was born February 2, 1953 in Gaston County, NC to the late John Edward and Mildred McClung Painter. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry, Jack and Johnny Painter, her dear friend, Sherry Lovingood.

She was a retired from Black & Decker, she also worked at Homelite and CR Garland.  She was a member of Zion Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Timmy and wife Kim Hargrave, and Brian Scott Hargrave; grandchildren, Brittany and husband Sam Ransdell, Zachary Hargrave and companion Rodney Walker, Abigail Hargrave, and Brandon Hargrave; great grandchildren Jase and Sadie Ransdell; brother, Donnie and wife Carolyn Painter; as well as many dear nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at from 1:00 to 2:00 pm., Monday, March 6, 2023 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home.

 Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday in the Chapel following the visitation with reverend Leo Kuykendall officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Gardens. Pallbearers will be Zachary Hargrave, Jeff Pearson, Sam Ransdell, Seth Lovingood and Reggie Graham
