Cherryville - Sandra "Sandie" Leigh Bentley Pearson, 59, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. She was born in Gaston County and was the daughter of the late Brice Benton and Betty Sue Pressley Bentley.
Sandra leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Crystal Serrett and husband Billie of Gastonia; one son, Christopher Bentley and wife Holly of Statesville; seven grandchildren, Collin Serrett, Bryson Bentley, Aaron Bentley, Dameian Bentley, Caleb Bentley, Eva Bentley, Faith Bentley; special niece, Tiffany McConnell and husband, Frank.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with A Celebration of Life Service to follow at 4: 00 p.m. in the Chapel of Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Keller officiating. Inurnment will be private and at a later date.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Dwight Pearson; two sisters, Joy Diane Cash, Rebecca Sue Bentley.
