Gastonia – Ruth Irene Gummeson, 82 passed away April 13, 2018 at the Brian Center.
She was born in Ohio on October 21, 1935 to the late John and Hilda Boss.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 58 years, Russell Emery Gummeson.
Ruth was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses Congregation and enjoyed reading.
She moved to Gastonia in 1984 from Asheville.
Survivors include her sons, Michael and Brian Gummeson of Gastonia, NC;
brothers Clayton Boss of Santa Monica, CA and Paul Boss of Asheville, NC
Funeral Service will be May 5, 2018 at 4:00 p.m., at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2250 Davis Park Road, Gastonia. Visitation will be follow the service
