Ruby K. Jones

Gastonia- Ruby Kathleen Carpenter Jones, 88, of Gastonia, went home to be with the Lord October 18, 2010 at Gaston Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of York County, born March 5, 1922
to the late William Mark and Fannie Mae Earney Carpenter.
Ms. Jones was a member of Temple Baptist Church
She was retired from textiles
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Floyd Jones,
her grandchildren, Gary Robert Proctor, Jr. and Troy Ann Brooks;
sisters, Vera Moore and Johnsie Carpenter; brothers Bob and Ray Carpenter

Survivors include daughter, Vernese Proctor of Bessemer City
Grandson, Randy Brooks and wife Anita of Bessemer City
Great Grandson, Levi Brooks; and a sister, Margie Ray of Gastonia

A Celebration of Life service will be 2:00pm Friday, October 22, 2010 at Temple Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Mathis officiating
The family will receive friends 1 hr prior to the service
Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park
