Lancaster-Ruby Marie Shaw Ford, 85, 245 South Catawba Street, Lancaster, SC passed away January 17, 2012 at the Hospice & Community Care, Rock Hill, SC.
Mrs. Ford was a native of Pelzer, SC, born April 1, 1926 to the late Charlie and Bessie Surett Shaw.
She was preceded in death by her Parents her Husband, Joe H. Ford,
a son Rocky Ford, two brothers Charles Shaw and Carl Walker.
She retired from Belk Stores Service.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Brewer and husband David of Lancaster, SC; a grandson Dennis Brewer and wife Lorraine of Lancaster, SC; three great grandsons, Neal, Blake and Gabriel Brewer;
a cousin Don Whilden and wife Mary
Services will be 2pm Friday at in the Mausoleum at Forest Lawn West , 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC
The family will receive friends following the service
