Gastonia - Ronnie Wilson Potts, 68, passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center with his loving family by his side. Ronnie was born in Lowell, North Carolina and was the son of the late Guy Wilson and Ruby Fields Potts.
Ronnie was a carpenter and worked for Pinnix Construction Company until his retirement. After retiring he loved to work in his yard and build projects for his wife and family. Ronnie was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Viet Nam War.
Ronnie leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of 44 years, Pamela Pennington Potts; one daughter, Brandi Black and husband Josh of Lowell; two sons, Brent Wilson Potts, Dustin Andrew Potts and wife Christy of Gastonia; five grandchildren, Kaleb Black, Kaiden Black, Kamden Black, Bella Potts, Owen Potts.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Kay Lowery.
Services will be private and at a later date.
