Cherryville - Ronald "Ronnie" Del Crawford, 63, of Cherryville and formerly of Cramerton passed away at his home on Monday, August 21, 2017. Ronnie was born in Mecklenburg County and grew up in Cramerton and was the son of Lewis Crawford and the late Uldine Branch Crawford.
Ronnie was a graduate of South Point High School and retired as a Truck Driver for B & D Trucking Company.
Ronnie is survived by his loving son and his wife, Chris and Maria Crawford of La Grange, North Carolina; father, Lewis Crawford of Cramerton; grandson, Brayden Crawford; companion, Alice McFarland; brother, Todd Crawford (Wanda) Mt. Holly; two sisters, Rhonda Armstrong, Bessemer City, Cheryl Bingham (Tim M.), Mt. Holly; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, August 25th at West Cramerton Baptist Church with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 1:30 p.m. at West Cramerton Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Ivey officiating.
Interment will be private and at a later date.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his mother; brother, Roger William Crawford.
