Cramerton – Ronald Franklin "Ron" Sanders, 53 passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018. He was a native of Gaston County, born on September 9, 1964.
Ron enjoyed working on cars, model cars, traveling to the mountains and listening to old rock & roll music. He will always be remembered for his contagious smile and will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
Left to cherish his memories includes his mother, Judy Rikard Sanders; father, Frank Sanders; son, Jason Sanders; daughter, Stacie Handsel and husband Branon and son, Granger; brother, Jody Sanders, sister, Tammie Watson along with nephews, Andrew Greene, Tyler and Shannon Sanders.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday, May 18, 2018 at Goshen Free Will Baptist Church, 1300 West Catawba Avenue, Mt. Holly, NC with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Clayton Burch officiating.
Inurnment will take place in the mountains per his request at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Heart Society of Gaston County, 1201 E. Garrison Blvd., Gastonia, NC 28054.
