Cramerton - Robin Lynn McDonald, 58, passed away on Friday, January 05, 2018 at Carolina Care & Rehabilitation of Cherryville with his loving family by his side. Robin was born in Gaston County and was the son of the late J. D. McDonald and Joye Beatty Stallings.
Robin was a former employee of the City of Gastonia in the Land Survey Department.
Robin is survived by his four sisters, Kim Johnson, Kristie McDonald of Cramerton, Karman Adams and husband Johnny of Ranlo, Samatha Stallings of Dallas; one brother, Joey Stallings of Greensboro; special friend, Mike Johnson; Nieces, Kaitie Adams, Hannah Adams, Kaylee Holland; nephews, David Johnson, Daniel Johnson, Todd Painter.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. Monday, January 8th at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 4:00 p.m. in the Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. David B. Julen officiating.
Interment will be private and at a later date.
