Robert L. White

Gastonia-Robert Lynn White, Sr. 61 of 2106 Hemlock Avenue, Gastonia passed away July 14, 2012 at his residence.
He was a native of Gaston County, born February 3, 1951 to the late William Fred and Mattie Paysour White.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson Nick and a sister Brenda Mitchell
He worked at Parkdale Mills as an electrician.
He was survivor by his wife of42 years, Carolyn Payne White,
Sons Robert Lynn White, Jr., Danny White and Scott White;
a daughter, Teresa Goodson and husband Allen;
Brother Robert Michael White and wife Crystal;
Sisters Virgil Black and Thelma Franklin
Seven grandchildren and a great grandchild
The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:30pm, Monday at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home
Celebration of Life service will be 1:00pm Tuesday, July 17 at Withers & Whisenant Fuenral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Funderburk officiating
Burial will follow at Gaston Memorial Park, Garden of Four Seasons with the Releasing of the Doves
Pallbearers will be Allen Goodson, Danny White, Scott White, Ronnie Black, Tracey Bumgardner and Eric Berryhill
