Dallas-Robert Lee 'Bob' Jarrett, 82 of Dallas passed away July 17, 2012 at the Robin Johnson House.
He was a native of Gaston County, NC born September 1, 1929 to the late
Otto and Lula Watts Jarrett.
Bob was a loving Husband, Father and proud Grandfather. He enjoyed gardening and watching the birds.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 51 years, Gladys Street Jarrett who died February 10, 2012, a brother John Jarrett and a sister, Mary Lou Petty
Survivors include his children, Ann Davenport and husband Joe of Dallas; and her daughters, Hannah and Alexis Huggins; Bobbie and Boyce Falls and son Jeremy; Brad Jarrett, Bruce and Laura Jarrett and son Bryan; June West and children David and Jennifer
And several great grandchildren
The family will receive friends 1:00 until 2:00 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Friday, at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Ballentine officiating
Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park, Dogwood section
Pallbearers will be Joe Davenport, Boyce Falls, James McEntire,
Jack Neal, Wesley Jarrett and Tommy Petty
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, P.O. Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054
