Dallas- Robert B. Pogorzelski, 73, passed away on May 22, 2014 at Robin Johnson House.
He was born September 20, 1940 in Waterbury, Connecticut to the late Stanley and Hedwig Lyuchenska Pogorzselki.
He is preceded in death by his late wife Shirley Hubble Pogorzelski of West Palm Beach, Florida. His eldest brother Stanley and his sister, Harriet Mooney
Robert served in the U.S. Navy. After serving in the Navy moved to West Palm Beach, Florida and operated a glass business; Custom Glass and Mirror of the Palm Beaches. He later moved to Gastonia to open the The Franklin Glass and Mirrors, Co., later worked with his son, Paul at Custom Glass and Mirrors in Gastonia, NC
Survivors include his loving sons, Paul and wife Rose of Dallas, NC and Robert Jr., presently in Naugatuck, CT; brothers, Conrad Pogorzelski of Gastonia, NC and Edward Pogorzelski of Waterbury, CT and a sister; Theresa Frappier of New Port Richie, FL;
A Celebration Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home and Cremation Service with visitation from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, Donations may be sent to: North Carolina Right to Life Inc., PO Box 9282, Greensboro, NC 27429-0282.
