Clover, SC – Robert "Bob" Ross Elliott, 64, passed away on October 15, 2020 at his residence.
He was born in Iredell County on November 9, 1955 to the late Virgil Ross and Peggy Lucille Troutman Elliott.
Bob was a veteran of the US Army. He was a Heating & Air Technician and a member of the Lake Wylie Business Association for many years. Bob was an avid Nascar fan and enjoyed watching races on television. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle who will be greatly missed.
Bob is survived by his wife, Jane Cowan Elliott; daughter, Bobbie Jane Elliott, granddaughter, Lily Evangeline Elliott and grandson, Steeler Ross McCumbee;
his brother, Roger Elliott and wife Debbie of Statesville, NC and their children, Jet Elliott, Ashley Elliott and significant other, Jayson Faulk; Anna Elliott Jones and husband John; and their children, Jon Aiden, Bella Angeli and Lela Marie;
his sister, Donna Lyons of Statesville, NC and her children, Crystal Barnes and husband Eric and their children, Ethan and Tucker; Johnny Lyons and wife Kristen and their children, Katelynn, Kelsey, Savannah, Aubrey and Olivia; Cassandra Lyons Chege and her children, Camilla and Nicholas; Joshua Lyons and wife Charlene and their children, Natalia and Joshua.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home, 2916 Union Road, Gastonia, North Carolina.
