Gastonia – Richard Dwayne "Rick" Green, 58 passed away on May 29, 2018.
He was a native of Gaston County, born October 18, 1959 to Jack L Green and the late Judy Gayle Simpson Green.
In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his daughter, Amber Colleen Iverson.
Rick is survived by his parents, Jack L and Gloria Bailey Green; wife, Cindy Price Green, his son Eric Glenard; siblings, Debbie Martin, Jody Green, Jeannie Baldwin, Lori Hamrick,and Charles Buctner. Grandchildren, Evan Green, Jayden Iverson and Phillip Bean; Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday, June 1, 2018 at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 6:00 p.m. Friday with Rev. David MacEachern and Rev. Eric Quinn officiating,
with the Releasing of the Doves to follow.
In lieu of flowers, family request memorials to the funeral home.
