He was born in Gaston County on December 19, 1938 to the late Clyde Campbell Lynn and Dessie Mae Lynn. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter, Sherry Dean Lynn.
Left to cherish his memories includes wife of 54 years, Marie Wooten Lynn;
his children, Dewey Russell Lynn, Sandra Diane Lynn and Deborah Elaine Lynn;
5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; brother, Michael Douglas Lynn.
