Gastonia – Rebecca Lee "Becky" Wease, 69 of 3505 Heather Lane passed away October 24, 2014 at the Robin Johnson House.
She was born on July 22, 1945 in Gaston County to the late Leroy and Ernestine Lamb Shires.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harry Lee Wease, and sister Kim Parker
Becky was a member of Ridge Baptist Church, where she had been active years ago. She was a loving mother, some say a "Super Mom". She enjoyed decorating her home, crafting hats and pound cake, but most of all traveling to see her children.
Survivors include her sons David Wease (Carol Linn) and Richard Sheridan (Shelly McCue); her partner, John Sheridan; brother George Shires and sisters Pam Holmes and April Morrill and
her grand dog Bart
Visitation will be Sunday, October 26th from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home
Celebration of Life service will be at 3:00 pm, Sunday at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with Reverend Chester Waters officiating
Visitation will be Sunday, October 26th from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. prior to the service
In lieu of flowers memorials be made to Robin Johnson House, c/o Gaston Hospice, P.O. Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28053
