Dallas- Rebecca Sue Eagan, 50, passed away March 8, 2010 at Gaston Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Macon County, IL born August 28, 1959 to Walter Raymond and Patricia Ann Scroggins.
She is preceded in death by her Maternal Grandmother: Olive Fern Jones, Paternal Grandmother: Mae Scroggins Baker
and Paternal Grandfather: Nelson Scroggins.
Survivors include: her parents; her former husband and good friend, Timothy John Eagan; her children: Lindsey Rae Thompson, Andria Diane Tindall and Cody John Eagan.
Grandfather: Edmund Joseph Jones
Brother: Jeffrey Lynn Scroggins;
Sisters: Vicki Jo Birch-Webb and Terri Lynne Scroggins;
Grandchildren: Elijah Ray and Jasher John Thompson,
Lyla Jade and Lucinda Monet Tindall.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday, March 12, 2010 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Marciano officiating.
The family will receive friends 1 hr prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Forest Lawn West, Charlotte.
