Gastonia – Raymond L. Schneider passed away, peacefully, at his home in Gastonia, NC on 3/26/13
Raymond was a Veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from the United States Navy as a Senior Chief after serving, honorably, for 26 years. Though his military career was a great source of pride and accomplishment, Raymond's true joy was found with his family.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Margaret. Fisher Schneider, just shy of their 26th wedding anniversary
Raymond is survived by his son, Mark David Schneider and his daughter, Tracy Karena Schneider.
Raymond overcame, seemingly, insurmountable odds to serve his Country and provide for his family. He did so with honor, respect and the love and admiration of his wife and children. Raymond Schneider will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
